    There is actually no affordability issue in Vancouver. Those who are buying housing in Vancouver are investors and speculators. The have large amount of cash or can borrow money from the banks. Only the housing prices in Vancouver can increase much faster than other locations. That is one of the main reasons why there are never lack of buyers (investors and speculators). It is meaningless to use working class income to calculate affordability. It is a huge misleading here.
