Campus Ambassador_Education_Chinese Community_UBC/SFU
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Campus Ambassador to be the face and voice of our brand. As a fast-pace developing brand, our only and ultimate goal is to help Chinese students in Canada universities to successfully transition to their academic journey. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting our brands through various media channels. You will work closely with our content department to achieve its goals and objectives, such as communicating the information to our customers, collecting the information and feedback from students, and representing the brand at launches and events.
To excel in this role, you will have excellent communication and networking skills, and a strong presence on social media. Previous experience as a tutor/TA/marker and grader or similar role is strongly desired.
Responsibilities
• Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Working closely with content department to conceptualize various campaigns and strategies.
• Educating Chinese students of our brand.
• Navigating various social media, such as wechat, QQ and etc to drive brand awareness and attract new customers.
• Collecting information, such as feedback from students to enhance the user experiences.
• Tracking customer preferences, metrics, and media campaigns.
• Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.
• Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.
Requirements
• Chinese Students with Mandarin as native language.
• Year 2+ majoring in Economics, Math, Management, CS or statistics is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Working Schedule
- Extremely flexible. No office presence is required.
- Approximately 10 hours/week
- 8 month (Sep – April)
- Possible to be full-time employee
