Those results are based on a wrong formula of 30% of income before tax for rents. Lots of tenants pay their rents which are much higher than that percentage. They just cut the expenses of their daily lives which are not under the assumed living standards. Under that assumption, no new immigrants can afford to rent houses as their wages are much lower than $37 per hour.
